EVENT cancelled (postponed)

Dear Audience,
Due to the dramatic weather around Cologne/Bonn with several train rails being impassable (Link 1, Link 2), our speaker for tonight’s event “Microdosing: mental health and creativity” is not able to come to Berlin in time for his Monday talk at Betahaus.
He promised to be there for the (identical) Tuesday talk in time (this event is already sold out, too).
Since tonight you were up for an interesting talk on Microdosing, we will repeat the event with Dr. Toby Lea in the course of the next months and inform all of you about the date as soon as possible.
  1. You can either keep your ticket and use it for the upcoming Microdosing talk or any other MIND Academy event.
  2. … or you are entitled to a full refund. Write with your ticket number (best: original email ticket), name  and payment method to
We are very sorry for this unexpected inconvenience.

Microdosing psychedelics: creativity and mental health

Over the past decade there has been renewed interest in clinical research on psychedelics for the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. Coinciding with this, there has been growing media interest in “microdosing,” a practice in which people routinely take small doses of psychedelics as a self-managed therapy to improve their mental health, or as a cognitive biohack to improve workplace performance. Research evidence on microdosing is currently limited, but a small number of studies are underway.

On March 11th, the MIND Foundation invites you to hear Dr. Toby Lea present the findings from his recent international survey of microdosing for the first time ever. Come to this talk to learn more about this growing trend and what it could mean for the future of mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing!

About Toby Lea

Dr. Toby Lea is currently in Germany on a postdoctoral fellowship with the Humboldt Foundation. He is leading an international online survey about people’s experiences of using psychedelics as self-managed therapies for mental health and substance use, cognitive enhancement, and personal and spiritual development. He is originally from Australia, and his research there was primarily focused on substance use and harm reduction among LGBTI people.
