The Members Committee is a crucial part of MIND’s structure that is responsible for our members as well as our staff. Through networking, communication and collaboration, the Members Committee creates the internal basis for MIND.
The administration and promotion of our memberships is one of the main tasks of the Members Committee. This means, for example, communicating with existing members and ensuring that they have access to the members benefits, such as discounts, special information or the opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people. For the improvement of membership advantages and to ensure the satisfaction of our members, it is also important to create and collect proposals as well as looking constantly for new benefits for our members, which includes making contact with interesting providers and working out new ideas in cooperation with the other committees.
The other important task of the Members Committee is the coordination of volunteers and interns. For example, as soon as someone would like to spend her/his time to support the vision and work of MIND, we are the first contact. We organize a first interview, provide information about internal structures of MIND, put them in touch with the responsible committee and look after the administrative tasks. On the other hand, we collect the vacant posts of the committees and promote them in our digital channels. To ensure the satisfaction of our staff and to improve the working conditions, we also collect proposals, conduct surveys and act as an impartial instance for communication between committees and volunteers.
