Marvin Däumichen, M.A.

Founder, Director of Research and Knowledge Exchange

Marvin Däumichen, MA, is a founder of the MIND Foundation and the Director of Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE). In the initial phase of MIND, he coordinated the Science Committee.

In 2018, he graduated from the Humboldt University of Berlin with a Master of Arts in American Studies and is presently working on a doctoral dissertation in sociology and drug and prevention research. His research focus lies on identity, cultures, and society in relation to psychoactive substances, on which he lectures at the University of Applied Sciences, Merseburg. Marvin has professional experience in German-English translation work, and as a third black belt in Karate has been teaching for more than a decade.

With the MIND Foundation’s work, he hopes to build a future in which psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy brings the best treatment regimens to patients who need them and in which an informed public has all rights necessary to make competent decisions on their means of choice in their personal and in societal development.
