Dr. sc. hum. Henrik Jungaberle is the Executive Director of the MIND Foundation and the co-CEO of OVID Health Systems. He is a researcher in public health, psychedelics, and psychotherapy – and a science entrepreneur since 2016. His focus is on human development, integration, and integrity in the use of psychoactive substances – and how to shape this on the individual, clinical, social, and political levels.
In the year 2000, Henrik received his doctorate from the Medical Faculty of the University of Heidelberg. For 18 years (1996-2014), he worked at the Institute of Medical Psychology, University Hospital Heidelberg, where he conducted and lead EU- and DFG-financed research on salutogenesis and psychoactive substances. From 2013-2020, Henrik acted as chair of the non-profit FINDER, which incubated the MIND Foundation. With his teams, he built and teaches programs like REBOUND (drug education) and the European Prevention Curriculum EUPC. He is a developer, facilitator, and trainer in several psychedelic-related programs like BEYOND EXPERIENCE (psychedelic integration), APT – Psychedelic Therapy Training (clinical training), and head of MIND’s psilocybin depression study group in Prof. Dr. med. Gerhard Gründer’s EPIsoDE study.
