Enzo Tagliazucchi studied physics at the University of Buenos Aires and obtained a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Frankfurt, Germany. He was awarded an AXA postdoctoral fellowship, a Marie Curie individual fellowship and a Mercator Fellowship from the DFG, and worked as researcher at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience and the Brain and Spine Institute in Paris, France. Enzo’s main topic of interest is human consciousness and the psychedelic state, as well as other states of reduced or altered consciousness. His laboratory at the University of Buenos Aires and the Latin American Brain Health Institute (Santiago, Chile) does experimental work as well as computational modeling and data analysis, adopting methods from machine learning, dynamical systems, natural language processing, and computational psychiatry.
