Eugen Secară, MCogSc MClinPsych, is a member of the European Foundation for Psychedelic Science (MIND), in which he is the Speaker for the Mental Health Professionals Section and a BEYOND EXPERIENCE Facilitator. Furthermore, he is a member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), actively involved in the Psychedelic Special Interest Group.

Eugen is an associate assistant professor at the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, where he teaches cognitive psychology seminars and is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Cognitive Psychology on the topic of fake news. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Bucharest, he has graduated from the Middle European Interdisciplinary Master programme at the University of Vienna, having done a computational modelling focused Erasmus semester at the Comenius University of Bratislava, and the Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy Master programme at the Babeș-Bolyai University. Having received his license as a cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist from the Romanian Board of Professional Psychology in 2019, he offers individual and group therapy sessions and workshops based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Eugen values profound discussions on meaningful topics, kindness, rigorous research, learning from the people he comes in contact with, sharing knowledge in diverse ways, and allowing others to be as they are and grow at their own pace.
