Helen Sproat is an existential psychotherapist and a MIND Foundation psychedelic integration workshop facilitator. After her initial psychotherapy training, her interest in the therapeutic use of altered states of consciousness led her to further studies as a kundalini yoga and meditation teacher and deepened her understanding of psychedelic integration. She participated in a BEYOND EXPERIENCE Workshop herself before training to facilitate the workshops with the MIND Foundation.

In 2016, she graduated from the University of Roehampton in the UK with a Master of Science in Psychotherapy and Counselling. She went on to train in the Open Dialogue approach with a keen interest in the experiences of ‘psychosis’ and understanding the strength of working in groups in these situations. She is now based in Lisbon working in private practice.

Her personal experiences of trauma inform her work as a psychotherapist, kundalini teacher, and psychedelic integration supporter. Her belief is that it’s important to educate, reduce harm and promote a culture of integration for all those who choose to explore altered states of consciousness as therapeutic and transformational tools.
