At the MIND Foundation, Isadora is working as part of the MIND Academy where she is doing research around policy implementation, history, and law of psychoactive substances in order to develop content for the Drug Science Program. With experience in the development and organization of conferences, Isadora will be supporting MIND in the lead up to their INSIGHT conference happening in September 2021.

Isadora graduated from Durham University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology, writing her dissertation project on ‘The Exoticisation of Ayahuasca and the Expansion of Ayahuasca Tourism,’ which was informed by fieldwork done with the Shipibo tribe in Peru. During her time there, she was able to witness first hand the healing potential of Ayahuasca and other psychoactive plants, further fuelling her desire to destigmatize these substances and help redefine how the world approaches, prevents and heals mental health disorders.
