Hailing from Wisconsin, Kasey Devitt is a student of psychology currently working towards a master’s degree with the purpose of becoming a psychedelic therapist and scientist. Having lost family members to the US opioid epidemic, she became determined to explore the medicinal potential of psychedelics. Her husband, Eric Lonergan, is pursuing a PhD in neuroscience focusing on the mechanism of action of psychedelics. They are currently based in Berlin for their studies, and participate actively in the MIND Foundation’s professional sections.
Kasey is a certified yoga instructor, having been trained in Rishikesh, India. Accordingly, she is interested in the somatic dimensions of healing. She has a strong passion for visual arts, and is a prolific painter. She uses her visual talent to help guide aesthetic decisions as a graphic design intern for the MIND foundation.
