Having spent her childhood in Latin America, she had heard of psychedelics as tools for healing used by Indigenous Peoples, but it was only later in her life through her passion for 1970s counterculture music and cinema that she became acquainted with the topics of meditation, psychology, and psychedelics. She strongly aligns with MIND’s values and mission to make the world a more connected place through evidence-based psychedelic research and thus strives to be a part of the change she wishes to see in the world.
