Lukas is a psychologist and researcher working at the University Hospital Dresden, in the department of adolescent substance abuse. He is currently working on his PhD in clinical psychology, dealing with the relationship between traumatic experiences and substance use disorders. He plans on defending his thesis in 2022, and then continue work as Post-Doc and start his psychotherapist education. Since 2018, he has volunteered in harm-reduction organizations providing safer nightlife and safer use information and care at festivals or other events.
Lukas has been a MIND member since 2017 and seeing how much the MIND Foundation has developed in this time, inspires him to think of all the other milestones we can achieve.
His ultimate goal for MIND would be to do more than establish legal access to psychedelic therapy, to be more like a driving force in changing the prohibitionist drug policy in Germany, Europe, and the world.
