APT – AUGMENTED PSYCHOTHERAPY TRAINING
Are you looking to train as a psychedelic therapist or co-therapist?
This two-year training provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to practice in a legal, safe, and evidence-based framework.
The APT program is a professional training for medical doctors, psychotherapists, and complementary mental health professionals. Renowned clinicians and researchers from European and international institutions have joined up with the MIND Foundation to create this high-quality curriculum. Learn more about the teaching contents here.
With APT, you become a registered member of a large developing peer network, facilitating access to patient referral, supervision, peer-to-peer intervision, practice in therapeutic teams, and continued education. This network will play a part in the creation of international standards for psychedelic-augmented therapies. Over the years, we expect a growing number of organizations and authorities to support and further co-develop the APT program’s high standards. Becoming APT certified is an excellent opportunity to be part of a global transformation in the way we look at mental health care, healing, and human flourishing.
After the first program year, a Certificate in Psychedelic Integration Therapy/Coaching is awarded. After completing the second program year, participants obtain a Certificate in Psychedelic-Augmented Psychotherapy. You will be certified to practice ketamine-, breathwork-, and psychedelic-augmented psychotherapy on a state-of-the-art level. Depending on your prior qualification, you will be qualified to either work in a therapeutic team or individually. Learn more about admission and certification requirements here.
CME/CE accreditation is pending. We expect to be awarded 50+ CME/CE credits per year, awarded by the physicians’ chamber of Berlin, Germany.
The next English-language APT course starts on November 14, 2022. We are continuously screening applications and are already admitting applicants.
The next German-language APT course will start on March 8, 2023 (more information here).
Please note that each course only has a limited number of spots available. These spots are being filled continuously. We recommend applying as early as possible.
