Dr. rer. nat. Max Wolff is a clinical researcher within the MIND Foundation´s Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) department and curriculum manager for the APT – Augmented Psychotherapy Training program within the MIND Academy. Max is involved as a researcher and therapist in the EPIsoDE study, a Phase 2b clinical trial testing psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression.
He completed his doctorate in Psychology from Dresden Unsiversity of Technology (TU Dresden) in 2017. From 2013-2020, Max was involved in TU Dresden’s Collaborative Research Center (CRC 940) “Volition and Cognitive Control”, focusing on everyday self-control failures and dysfunctions of goal-directed behavior in addictive disorders. His current research projects are primarily concerned with the psychological and psychotherapeutic mechanisms underlying the efficacy of psychedelic-assisted treatments for mental disorders. Max’ background as a clinical psychologist is in cognitive behavioral therapy.
