Dimitria Electra Gatzia is professor at the University of Akron and the recipient of the University of Akron Outstanding Researcher Award (2021). She was a Research Fellow at the Centre for Philosophical Psychology at the University of Antwerp (2016-2017) and the Institute of Philosophy at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (Summer 2021). She is the co-editor of The Philosophy and Psychology of Ambivalence: Being of Two Minds (Routledge) and The Epistemology of Non-visual perception (Oxford University Press), and the author of various scholarly articles on perception, cognitive penetration, and consciousness.
