Jan Kohut, MD, is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and works in his own practice in Basel, Switzerland. His clinical psychiatric-psychotherapeutic work is based on analytical-psychodynamic explanatory models, with special emphasis on aspects of the teachings of C.G. Jung. His in-depth interest is in metacognitive, humanistic, process-oriented and body-oriented methods.
He is a founding member of SAPAS (Slovak Psychedelic Society) and a member of
of the SÄPT (Swiss Medical Society for Psycholytic Therapy). He works with ketamine in the context of ketamine-assisted therapy and gained experience in study setting of clinical application of LSD.
