Within MIND, Imen is volunteering as part of the Research and Knowledge Exchange department and is responsible for IT-related topics and for the improvement of the backend and frontend of the MIND foundation websites.
In 2015, she graduated from the Technical University of Munich with a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. So far, she has worked as a project manager and as a developer in several industries, building hardware and software products for automotive, smart city, and customer-care applications. Besides being a techie, she likes to nourish her more artsy side in her free-time while playing music, writing poems, or painting. She also enjoys diving into topics like Psychology, Biohacking, and Philosophy of the Mind.
With the MIND Foundation’s work, she hopes to contribute to building a world, where psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy in a safe environment is possible for patients who are struggling daily with treatment-resistant depression and other psychological disorders.
