Gerhard Gründer is Professor of Psychiatry and chairman of the Department for Molecular Neuroimaging at the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, Germany. His main research interests are the neurobiochemistry of mental disorders and clinical psychopharmacology. His research methods include functional imaging methods such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). Moreover, Gerhard Gründer is the chairman of the Task Force Psychopharmacology of the DGPPN and chairman of the Task Force “Therapeutic Drug Monitoring” of the AGNP.
