Ines Hipolito is a lecturer at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain (Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin) and a Talent Grant fellow at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (University of Amsterdam). Her work focuses on what she calls “augmented cognition”, particularly on how neurotechnology, such as psychedelics or ambient smart environments, can be used to as individualised therapeutics for positive behavioural change in mental health and well-being. Methodologically her work sits on the interface between complex systems theory and embodied and enactive cognitive science.
