Marg Ryan is an experienced and highly skilled psychotherapist and mentor currently working at the Clinical Psychedelic Laboratory at Monash University. She has co-facilitated training programs for therapists to become psychedelic-assisted therapists through Curtin University and Monash University. Additionally, she was an assistant trainer at the inaugural Australian Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies MDMA training program hosted by Monash University. Marg is also a mentor guiding new therapists to develop their clinical skills for research trials.

Marg is a specialist in childhood trauma, having gained expertise through her studies in Somatic Psychotherapy at the Australian College of Somatic Psychotherapy. She holds a Master’s degree in organisational psychology and a Diploma in education and undergraduate studies in psychology. She is also a fully certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist. In 2021, she completed the MDMA Training Program with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, and this has further enhanced her knowledge and skills in the psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy space.

Marg opened her private practice in Melbourne in 2007. In this context, she works with supervisees to develop their clinical skills. She also sees individuals and couples to help them overcome their life challenges and lead more fulfilling lives.
