Dr. David Spektor (ClinPsyD) is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who worked in public mental health for over a decade in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. He also held the position of senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne for a number of years and now runs his own large private practice, whilst at the same time being heavily involved as a Core Therapist at the Psychedelic Sciences Laboratory at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
David is currently working on two active trials. One is investigating the effectiveness of Psilocybin assisted Psychotherapy for people with Generalised Anxiety Disorder (Psi-GAD), and the other is the Psi-GAD Therapist training programme which incorporates a world-first option for trial therapists to receive psilocybin under supportive conditions. David is a core therapist on both and also about to commence as a therapist on a study looking at the use of MDMA assisted psychotherapy for people with PTSD.
